HOLYOKE - Nancy H. (Enneguess) Gangne, 78, of Mount Tom Avenue, died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009.

She was born in Concord, Mass., on Feb. 7, 1931, to the late Daniel and Tynne (Frigard) Enneguess. Nancy was a 1944 graduate of Hale High School in Stowe and has lived in the Western Massachusetts area since 1971.

After 18 years of service she retired from Filene's Department Store in 1997. She had a love of gardening and ballroom dancing.

She leaves her husband of 56 years, Walter F. Gangne; three sons, Stephen D. Gangne and his wife Nancy LaFontaine of Easthampton, Glenn P. Gangne and his wife Jeanne of Easthampton and Craig J. Gangne and his wife Karen of Colrain; sister-in-law, Carole Enneguess of Cape Cod; brother-in-law, Jack Dahlheimer of Laconia, N.H.; five grandchildren, a great-grandson and many nieces and nephews. Nancy was predeceased by a grandson, Michael Gangne; a sister, Sheilah Dahlheimer, and a brother, Daniel Enneguess.

Funeral services for Nancy are private and at the convenience of the family. Graham Funeral Home of Easthampton has been entrusted with her care and the arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation, One Bulfinch Place, 2nd Floor, Boston, MA 02114.
