WARE — Authorities are investigating the death of a woman who was found dead in the backyard of property she owns in the Bellevue Avenue area of Ware, according to the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office.
Police were dispatched to the scene on Wednesday at approximately 10 a.m. where they located Karyn Perez, 41, of Monson. Her death remain under investigation by the Ware Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to the DA’s office. There is no threat to public safety at this time, according to the DA’s office.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
