Easthampton eliminated from Little League Intermediate East Regional

Easthampton’s bats couldn’t keep it in the Intermediate Little League East Regional.

The Massachusetts state champions lost 8-1 to Keystone (Pennsylvania) on Monday.

Easthampton scored its only run in the fourth inning when Justin Colpack hit a home run. He homered in every game in the East Regional.

Colin Larson, Nick Lloyd and Ohm Patel also had hits for Easthampton, which went 1-1 over the weekend to face elimination Monday. Ryan O’Leary, Michael Rodriguez, Connor Perrault and Hudson Fulcher-Melendy drew walks.

Keystone scored three runs in the fourth and fifth innings before tacking two more on in the sixth.

Nick Jolicoeur threw five innings for Easthampton. He struck out seven and allowed seven hits with three walks.

Ohm Patel pitched ⅔2 of an inning, and Will Robbins threw the final third.
