But camping in downtown Northampton - son, you don't know noise. Did you know that the cuckoo chirps eight times? Yes, that shrill, pulsing signal that stops traffic so noontime pedestrians can traverse Main Street safely, can be heard to Childs Park at 3 o'clock in the morning.
