BOSTON - The Memphis Grizzlies keep winning on the road.

And now they're even beating Boston.

Rudy Gay scored 28 points on Wednesday night to lead Memphis to a 111-91 victory over the Celtics and give the Grizzlies a franchise-record seventh straight road win. The previous six were against non-contenders, but this was Memphis' first victory over the Celtics in seven tries.

MILWAUKEE - A serious mismatch on paper, it looked even more ridiculous in real life: Milwaukee Bucks point guard Brandon Jennings, all of 6-foot-1 and 169 pounds, standing up to Boston Celtics forward Glen Davis - a player 8 inches taller and nearly 130 pounds heavier.

BOSTON (AP) - Despite one of the worst shooting nights of Kevin Garnett's career, the Boston Celtics found a way to get a big fourth-quarter rally against the Washington Wizards.

Ray Allen scored a game-high 25 points, including a go-ahead 3-pointer with 17.1 seconds remaining, and the Celtics surged past the Washington Wizards 86-83 on Sunday.

PHILADELPHIA - Paul Pierce was way off his usual game. Rajon Rondo and the other two in the Big Three picked up the scoring slack.

Against the sinking 76ers, that was easily enough for a win.

Rondo had 16 points and 11 assists, Kevin Garnett scored 22 points, Ray Allen had 16 and the Boston Celtics handed the Philadelphia 76ers their fifth straight loss, 96-86 on Friday night.

Veteran Finley signs with Celts

PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Michael Finley will celebrate his 37th birthday Saturday as a member of the Boston Celtics.

The veteran swingman asked for and was granted his release from the San Antonio Spurs earlier this week. He will earn a prorated portion of the veteran's minimum of $1.1 million.

BOSTON (AP) - To win in the playoffs, the Boston Celtics know they will have to do a better job defending their home court. Their latest win was a step in the right direction.

Paul Pierce scored 27 points and a stingy Celtics defense held the Charlotte Bobcats to 29 percent shooting in the second half of Boston's 104-80 victory Wednesday night.
