Thank you, voters of Easthampton, for your votes to approve the new pre-kindergarten to Grade 8 school projec (“Voters OK $109 million school,” May 23).
With your votes, you have improved the lives of thousands of children in our city. You have also put us on a more certain and secure financial path for years to come.
As a member of the Committee for Building Easthampton’s Future, I met many engaged, enthusiastic, and dedicated Easthampton citizens of many different ages, backgrounds, and points of view.
It is up to all of us to carry this energy forward to preserve what we value, build what we need and find the solutions to the problems that will confront us all. I am hopeful that we can do it together.
