I’m sure most of us know the healing effects of nature. When I was a little girl I spent much of my time playing in the woods near my home, swimming at the Leeds Reservoir, and ice skating at the Look Park pond in the winter. Little did I know that things I loved as a child would be threatened by the emissions of too much carbon in the air. I am proud to be a resident of Massachusetts, where most of us are open to change for the protection of this beautiful Earth we inhabit.

For this reason I am asking you to join me in voting yest on Question 5 this November! Our future depends on taking action to reduce the amount of carbon responsible for the warming of the planet.

Encourage our politicians to support putting a fee on fossil fuels; the money collected will be distributed equitably to each citizen. Those who pollute less will be rewarded with cash to offset the fee placed at the pumps. Vote yes on Question 5.
