Earlier this year, when my neighbors and I learned that a developer wanted to construct a massive, five-story apartment complex (to be leased at market rates) on our little side street, we experienced considerable stress and concern about how such a project would adversely impact our neighborhood.
Ward 3 City Councilor Quaverly Rothenberg reached out to us directly. She took the time to listen to our concerns, explained the city’s policies and procedures, and attended meeting — even those where her attendance was not required — to speak on our behalf. Her approach was calm and rational, ensuring our voices were heard throughout the process. In contrast, no other candidate reached out to us.
Quaverly has consistently demonstrated her support for increasing the housing stock in our city, but her commitment to her constituents also remains steadfast. She balances these priorities thoughtfully and always advocates for the best interests of residents.
