This past July I had a bicycle accident in Sunderland. The responding police officer went out of his way to be helpful, both to me and to my scared cycling companions, and stayed with us until everything was settled. The ambulance drivers who brought me to Cooley Dickinson Hospital were experienced and reassuring. And, to a person, everyone who cared for me in the Cooley Dickinson ER was patient, kind, and highly skilled. I can think of no better place to have been delivered to in my state of shock and pain than the Cooley Dickinson Emergency Department.
