Dear John Thune and Mike Johnson: What is wrong with you? You know bombing boats in the Caribbean is murder, and only Congress can declare war. Throwing immigrants into unmarked vans is a police state. Shipping Venezuelans to CECOT was sadistic. Alligator Alcatraz is barbaric. Cutting food assistance is cruel. Cheaper groceries really is fake news. The fentanyl emergency with Canada is a lie. Subsidizing farmers because tariffs send buyers elsewhere is half-witted. And you surely know that claiming foreigners pay those tariffs is a deception.

Mass deportations will sink the economy. Cutting consumer protections will spike predatory lending. Priority to Afrikaners over “garbage” Somalis is incredibly racist. Targeting transgender people is callous. Medicaid restrictions shutter hospitals. Ending ACA subsidies undermines everyone’s health care. Lowering vaccine guidelines is crazy. RFK Jr. is a wacko. Hegseth is incompetent. Patel is a poser. Bondi is a lackey. And Loomer and Gaetz as Pentagon press? You know this is a farce.

All gerrymandering is bad, Texas’ is worse. Election integrity already exists. Restricting mail-in voting to prevent fraud is fraud. Idealogues replacing experts is dumb. Defunding science is self-defeating. Defunding mRNA research is idiotic. Pardoning January 6th offenders is offensive. Pardoning drug traffickers is appalling. Pardoning human traffickers is monstrous. And protecting Epstein accomplices? Repulsive.

Sabotaging electric cars is China winning. Blocking windmills is backwards. Solar is the cheap energy. Saving coal jobs is futile. Denying climate change is denial. Cutting pandemic preparedness is reckless. Slashing foreign aid is inhumane. Attacking allies is myopic. Siding with Putin is immoral. Bullying our USMCA partners is self-harm. And seriously, renaming the Gulf of Mexico?

Withholding federal funds for political payback is sinister. Revoking a broadcast license over Kimmel is censorship. Civilian assault weapons are insane. National Guard troops policing cities is incitement. Political indictments are despotic. DOGE did irreparable damage. Qatar’s palace-in-the-sky is a bribe. The ballroom is ridiculous. Trump incited an insurrection. His coin, watch, phone and university are hustles. And he is ludicrously corrupt.
