Crosswalks
Long ago when I was growing up in Northampton when you came to a crosswalk, on the sidewalk was a stencil which had three words on it: STOP, LOOK, WALK.
All too often when I am driving downtown a lot of the pedestrians do no such thing. They just step out in front of you. I am surprised there are not more accidents involving pedestrians. Especially at the heavy traffic times every day, please people, pay attention. I know everyone is in a hurry these days, but take a moment to watch the cars coming.
