Northampton, MA – Robert “Bob” Morin, son of the late Beatrice Samson and Edward Morin, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026, surrounded by loved ones, at Linda Manor Extended Care. He was predeceased by his sister, Barbara Murphy and companion Maureen Barnes.
Bob was a U.S. Army infantry veteran and worked as a construction laborer for D.A. Sullivan. He enjoyed gardening, walks around Look Park, and took pride in eating well, with the exception of his occasional sweet tooth.
He is lovingly remembered by his nieces: Jackie Murphy Henderson and her husband, Hollis Henderson; Susan Lorow and her husband, James Morse; and Debra Papageorge and her late husband, Timothy.
The family thanks the nurses and staff of Linda Manor Extended Care and the hospice team at Pioneer Valley Hospice & Palliative Care for their compassionate care.
Bob will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday January 12 at 12pm at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 235 North Elm Street Northampton, MA.
