NORTHAMPTON, MA – Betty Jean (Jobe) Ciaschini, 90, of Prospect Avenue passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family. Betty was born in Kentucky, a daughter of the late Fred & Lizzie (McCormick) Jobe. Betty worked as a Dietary supervisor for Cooley Dickinson Hospital for 39 years. Betty married Nelson Ciaschini and they settled in Northampton to raise their family. She leaves her daughters; Beverly Donahue with whom she made her home and Belinda Aldrich of Northampton, Brenda Ford and her husband Robert of Pomfret, CT., nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Nelson Ciaschini, her son Barry Ciaschini and all her siblings. Calling hours at AHEARN FUNERAL HOME, 783 Bridge Rd., Northampton will be Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. with a religious service at the Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M.
