SOUTH HADLEY — A 73-year-old South Hadley man that had been reported missing since Monday afternoon was found safe in Charlestown, Rhode Island, Tuesday night, according to South Hadley Police.
Police had issued a Silver Alert around 2 p.m. Tuesday for Joseph Hirschel, who was last seen leaving his Camden Street residence early Monday afternoon.
He was driving a gray 2009 Honda Accord and police had been asking for the public’s help in locating him.
Hirschel was found by police in Rhode Island Tuesday at around 8 p.m., according to South Hadley Police.
