NORTHAMPTON — A highway and bridge surfacing project is going to temporarily close certain lanes and ramps on I-91 north and south between Northampton and Deerfield this Monday through Friday, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation has announced.
Here’s the list of the expected changes to the normal traffic pattern:
The off ramp from I-91 southbound at Exit 25 will be closed on Monday, Oct. 23, from 9 a.m. through 3:30 pm.
The on ramp to I-91 northbound at Exit 25 will be closed on Monday, Oct. 23, from 9 a.m. through 3:30 pm.
The off ramp from I-91 southbound at Exit 24 will be closed on Tuesday, Oct. 24, from 9 a.m. through 3:30 pm.
Throughout the week, expect intermittent right-lane closures going north and south on I-91 between exits 21 and 25, between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
MassDOT encourages drivers to heed message boards that will be in place to warn them of the changes, and to expect delays, reduce speed and use caution.
