HADLEY — The Friends of the Hadley Council on Aging is sponsoring a thank you and farewell reception for Suzanne Travisano, who has served as the director of the Council on Aging for the past six years.
The drop-in event, which will feature light refreshments, will run from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the Most Holy Redeemer Parish Hall, 120 Russell St., which is the temporary home of the Council on Aging.
A new senior center is under construction off Middle Street.
All residents are invited to the event to wish Travisano well in future endeavors.
