NORTHAMPTON — Pulaski Park, which has been closed for renovations for nearly nine months, has had its opening delayed by more than a week.

The grand opening ceremony, originally scheduled for Wednesday, July 13, will now take place Friday, July 22, at 4 p.m., according to Mayor David J. Narkewicz.

Delays receiving milled wood and fabricated metal components for the public seating and children’s play area caused the change, according to the mayor.
