William Dean of Monson shot this eagle’s nest at Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary March 24.
He has been studying eagles for nine years and documents nests in Massachusetts as well as southern Vermont and New Hampshire. He followed the original eagle’s nest at Arcadia in 2012 when the approximately 5-week-old baby was found dead at base of the tree. In 2013, two babies hatched in the nest.
