A 22-year-old Medway woman will be summoned to court on a charge of violating the town’s noise bylaw after police responded to her home at 25 Charles Lane, for a third time, when loud music was playing at 6:58 a.m. Wednesday, police said.

Officers had first gone to her home at at 12:15 a.m. for a report of loud music and whistling, and then again at 12:41 a.m., when she was issued a $300 ticket for playing loud piano music that was bothering neighbors. 

Police are investigating a break-in to a vehicle parked on Emerson Court reported at 9 a.m. Tuesday. No additional information was available.

Northampton

Adam E. Waskiewicz, 35, of Hadley, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting around 2:11 p.m. Tuesday at Wal-Mart, 180 N. King St., after staff reported to police that the man left the store with about $80 worth of merchandise and didn’t attempt to pay. Items included weight and protein supplements, a sweatshirt and a T-shirt, police said. Waskiewicz tossed the items to the ground before getting into his car and driving away. Police pulled him over on Market Street, where he admitted to stealing from the store. Wal-Mart staff told police Waskiewicz had tried to steal from the store at least four times before – all during the month of March.

Gary D. Denno, 29, of Chesterfield, was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended license and speeding. He was pulled over around 9:59 a.m. Tuesday on Westhampton Road for going 57 miles per hour in a 35 mph zone, police said.
