The Williston Northampton girls water polo team went 2-0 on Saturday, beating Andover 17-2 and Exeter 13-12.

Ell Mattocks combined for 13 goals and two assists in the games.

Dylan Fulcher Melendy added five assists against Exeter and stopped 13 shots against Andover.

Abby Cosica (two assists) and Molly Kinstle (three assists) both had hat tricks against Andover.

Baseball

Gunnery 12, Williston 6 โ€” Nick Barber doubled and drove in two runs Saturday. Jonathan Toth had two hits and scored two runs.

Cal Messina and Noorthamptonโ€™s Nick Hefey both doubled.

Kyle Grabowski and Will Sawyer each had RBI singles for the Wildcats.

Boys lacrosse

Gunnery 9, Williston 8 โ€” Gavin Girardin scored four goals. Kevin Talbot won 18-of-20 faceoffs Saturday.

Williston 7, Gunnery 0 โ€” Amherstโ€™s Kenny Wang on at No. 1 singles, Florenceโ€™s Nikhil Sierros prevailed at No. 2 singles and Florenceโ€™s Luke Po won at No. 5 singles in the Wildcatsโ€™ first win of the season Saturday.

Girls tennis

Miss Porterโ€™s 6, Williston 3 โ€” Kate Han won at No. 5 singles.Pragyha Raja and Hana Tsukamoto (No. 1 doubles) and Kate Quimby and Brooke Smith (No. 3 doubles) also won their matches Saturday.

Boys golf

Westminster 190, Williston 206, Salisbury 223, Suffield 224 โ€” Owen Randolp shot a 39 on Saturday to earn the team medalist honors.
