The South Hadley boys tennis team went on the road to Holyoke and beat the Purple Nights 5-0 on Monday.
South Hadley’s Matt Gelinas beat Andy Mier in No. 1 singles 6-3, 6-1.
In No. 2 singles, Connor Barbacki didn’t give up a game against Marty Keane, winning 6-0, 6-0 for the Tigers (2-0). Hunter Steinbock cruised past Joe Cavanaugh 6-0, 6-1 at third singles.
The combination of Jack Canavan-Gosselin and Jake Remillard won No. 1 doubles, beating David Rex and Jeremiah Gomez 6-1, 6-1.
Nathan Pilgian and Gavin Lipp swept second doubles, 6-0, 6-0 over Mike Lukasiewicz and Dante Angelini.
