Kaitlyn Cerasi had six goals and three assists as the UMass women’s lacrosse routed George Mason, 24-5, Friday at Garber Field.

Haley Connaughton had five goals and five assists, while Emma Dotsikas also had five goals.

Kelly Marra added two goals.

Baseball

Dayton 6, UMass 0; Dayton 11, UMass 2 — Nolan Kessinger had three hits and scored once, but the Minutemen (4-15, 0-5 Atlantic 10) dropped the doubleheader on the road.

Wesleyan 4, Amherst 2 — Williams Murphy and Severino Simeone each had one hit and one RBI, but the Mammoths (6-5, 0-1 NESCAC) fell on the road.

Softball

Amherst 8, Wesleyan 5 — Audrey Hansen was 2-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored, while Nicole Trezza was 3-for-5 out of the leadoff spot as the Mammoths (10-3, 1-0 NESCAC) won on the road.

Wheaton 6, Smith 3; Smith 5, Wheaton 2 — Makena Wagner and Tyler Feeney (two RBIs, run) each had two hits in Game 2 as the Pioneers (4-10, 1-3 NEWMAC) recovered from a Game 1 loss in Northampton.
