On page B3 of the May 16 issue of the Gazette, you reprinted an article from the Associated Press with the headline, “Opioid-related deaths decline.”
This is sloppy journalism, considering where you are located. While opioid deaths have fallen for Massachusetts as a whole, they have increased dramatically for Hampden, Franklin, and Hampshire counties between 2017 and 2018, and those 2018 numbers are still only preliminary. I know this is an article from the AP, but you really should be more careful when choosing stories.
