WHATELY — There are no contests on the ballot in Tuesday’s annual town election.

Polls will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the town offices at 4 Sandy Lane.

With the exception of Catherine O’Hara, who is running for a School Committee seat to which she was appointed by Select Board and school board members, there are no newcomers on the ballot.

O’Hara has served on the School Committee since she was appointed last fall, after the seat was vacated.

Seeking reelection this year are Jonathan Edwards, Select Board; Richard Smith, moderator; Adelia Bardwell, elector under the Oliver Smith will; Lynn Sibley, town clerk; Katherine Fleuriel,  assessor, Quinton Dawson, library trustee; Paul Fleuriel Jr., cemetery commissioner; Michael Archbald, board of health; George Bucala Jr., water commissioner; Thomas Mahar and Edwin Janiewski, constables.

The moderator and elector under the Oliver Smith will are one-year terms. The rest are for three years.
