I would first of all like to thank the new editor or publisher of the Gazette for writing (everything), and not just political party beliefs, for the half-page column about U.S. Rep. Richard Neal in the May 16 edition, “Everybody does it? Not by a long shot, Rep. Neal.”
Second, to the person who wrote in a May 18 letter, “Stop disrespecting Rep. Richard Neal,” and bragged about what he has done for our communities, please start naming what they are, besides adding tons of money to his pocket.
The reason Neal holds the big and very important position in Washington, D.C., is because of the time he has been there, and only that, not for what he has done.
So, Richie, time to pack up your suitcase and take a long vacation somewhere, like all of the other 30- and 40-year people in Washington should do.
