Will Gunn, of Easthampton, recorded five pins en route to a New England Independent School Wrestling Association Class A Tournament championship at 220 pounds for Williston Northampton, Saturday.
Cam Lawrence (132) was seventh and Jack Higgins (126) eighth for the 14th-place Wildcats at the Hartford State Armory in Hartford, Connecticut.
Williston 5, Andover 0 — Sophia Jones, Sydney Wegner, Maeve Reynolds, Ava DeCoste and Emily Crovo each scored as the Wildcats cruised in the 11th annual Pink in the Rink fundraiser, Saturday at Lossone Rink.
Natalie Stott earned her eighth shutout of the season.
Williston 78, Andover 64 — Billy Whelan had 20 points, Cooper Creek added 15, and Wol Maiwen and Tanner Thomas each finished with 14 for the Wildcats, Saturday.
Williston 67, Pomfret 65 — Cristina Negron (Easthampton) led the way with 25 points and six assists, while Jordyn Meunier added 16 points for the Wildcats, Saturday. Caroline O’Connor (Southampton) chipped in nine points and 13 boards.
Ethel Walker 7, Williston 1; Williston 5, Suffield 2 — Poona Prakash Babu had two wins for the Wildcats on Saturday. Louisa Weed (Holyoke), Emily O’Brien, Sonia Whitman and Abby Schulkind also had wins against Suffield.
