Hopkins Academy’s depth on the golf course delivered a 17-7 road win over Greenfield on Tuesday at the Country Club of Greenfield.

The Golden Hawks swept the Nos. 3 and 4 matches and picked up forfeits at Nos. 5 and 6 to open the season with a victory. 

Tyalor Barry led Hopkins with a 47 at No. 3 and beat Luke Scotera 4-0. 

No. 4 Tyler St. Hilaire (58) also swept Tyler Zdanowicz 4-0.

Benson Li (58) and Nolan Styspeck (58) won via forfeit.

Connor Asselin (46) picked up a point in the No. 1 match but lost 3-1 against Dylan Archer.

At No. 2, Chris Ciolkos (56) fell 4-0 against Matt Lavoine.

Turners Falls 10.5, Easthampton 9.5 – Drew Thompson shot a match-best 44 for the Eagles and bested the Thunder’s Joey Mosca 3-1 in the No. 1 spot at Holyoke Country Club.

Easthampton captured victories at two of the top three positions.

At No. 3, Tanner Kmetz (51) beat Reese Ewell 3.5-0.5.

Easthampton’s No. 2 Mikey Thompson (51) tied Jackson Day 2-2.

Connor Perrault (67) fell 4-0 against Turners Falls’ Grady Deeryat No. 4, and Easthampton’s Dylan Marsh (64) lost 3-1 to Darian Burnett at No. 5.

Longmeadow 170, Amherst 175 – Piet Hartman tied for the medalist honors with a 40, but the Hurricanes dropped a tightly contested stroke play match on the road. Longmeadow’s Ryan Downes also shot a 40.

Chase Lashway and Ben Oates fired 43s for the Hurricanes. Ben Scott had a 57, Nate Hawkins a 57 and Zach Motrowski a 69.
