As Susanna Walz drove by Nashawannuck Pond in Easthampton recently, she saw two dragon boats getting ready to launch. “I could not resist the photo opportunity,” she wrote in an email accompanying her photos. “At one point as the boats glided across the pond with a misty Mount Tom in the background a group of Canadian geese joined the boats.”
