NORTHAMPTON — The Northampton Police Department put out a warning about black ice Monday morning.
A post published on the department’s Facebook page at about 7:30 a.m. said officers were responding to a motor vehicle accident in the area of Kennedy and Chesterfield roads, and that ice was probably a contributing factor. “Use caution while walking to your car and while driving,” the post urged.
