Where are the blue jays? Has anyone else noted the lack of blue jays in our area? If anyone knows of a population, I would love to hear of it. This year has been, as many have noted, one of the wettest on record. We have many, many squirrels at our feeders but few doves, no jays and a definite dearth of winter birds overall. Informal survey: Anyone seen a blue jay lately, and where? Thanks.
