NORTHAMPTON – A pedestrian was hit in a crosswalk Sunday night and transported to the hospital.
According to Northampton Police, a vehicle was traveling south down Pleasant Street at around 8:57 p.m. when it struck a pedestrian in a crosswalk outside of Roberto’s Restaurant.
The pedestrian was taken to Bay State Medical Center. The driver of the vehicle that allegedly struck the pedestrian was issued a citation for a crosswalk violation.
