Northampton sophomore Stefan Johnson is the top seed in the singles bracket of the Western Massachusetts Individual Tennis Tournament.
Singles play will begin at 8:45 a.m. Saturday at the Longmeadow Tennis Courts. Singles and doubles play continues at 8:45 a.m. Sunday, and the tournament will cover two weekends. Specific first-round matchups will be determined Saturday.
Amherst Regional’s James Serhant is the No. 3 seed, while Northampton’s Aidan O’Brien is No. 6.
Siddu Sitaraman and Rohan Shenoy of Amherst earned the No. 3 doubles seed. Northampton’s Asa Geller and Chris Raphael-Reily are seeded fourth.
There were no local girls seeded in the tournament.
