AMHERST – Amherst Regional students enjoyed an afternoon off on Wednesday, a scheduled early release day for the town’s schools. With abundant sunshine and temperatures in the mid 60s many students took time to walk through downtown on their way home, including freshman Johann Bishop seen here pausing under a blooming dogwood tree in Sweetser Park.
