Voters in Easthampton and Northampton head to the polls Tuesday to elect mayors, city councilors, School Committee members and other candidates for elected office.

The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. in both cities and a list of polling locations is included below.

Easthampton races

In Easthampton, voters will decide contested races for mayor, at-large city councilor, Precinct 2 city councilor, and at-large School Committee seats.

The city will elect a new mayor between candidates Nicole M. LaChapelle and Joy E. Winnie.

Seven candidates are vying for four at-large seats on the City Council, including incumbents Jospeh P. McCoy, Margaret A. Conniff and Daniel R. Carey. The four other candidates for at-large city council are Cinzia Pica-Smith, Owen M. Zarat, Jared M. Hinkle and William E. Lynch.

In addition, candidates Homar Gomez and Paul J. St. Pierre Jr. are running for the council’s Precinct 2 seat.

Eight candidates are running for six School Committee seats. They are incumbents Marissa L. Carrere and Cynthia L. Kwiecinski and candidates Laurie A. Garcia, Shannon M. Dunham, Jonathan M. Schmidt, Alexandra Dodge, Rose J. Spurgin and Marin Goldstein.

Northampton races

Northampton voters will decide races for mayor, city clerk, Ward 3 city councilor, and the School Committee’s Ward 6 and 7 seats, as well as one at-large seat on the committee.

In the mayor’s race, incumbent Mayor David J. Narkewicz faces a challenge from candidate John D. Riley, while interim City Clerk Pamela Powers is vying for the city clerk’s post with candidate Robert Driscoll.

Ward 3 City Councilor James B. Nash is facing a challenge from write-in candidate Robert E. Wronski.

On the School Committee, candidates Susan E. Voss, Molly B. Burnham and write-in candidate Ina Iansiti are running for one at-large seat. Incumbent Lonnie Kaufman and candidate Thomas M. Davidson are running for the School Committee’s Ward 6 seat and incumbent R. Downey Meyer is facing a challenge from write-in candidate Elena Daniell for the Ward 7 School Committee seat.
