NORTHAMPTON — The infamous “truck-eating bridge” has struck again.
Northampton Police reported on Facebook that at 6:10 a.m. Thursday, an out-of-state truck getting off of I-91 failed to obey signs and signals warning of the railroad bridge’s height, which crosses over Bridge Street between Hawley Street and Strong Avenue.
“Unfortunately, people put too much faith in their GPS sometimes,” the post read. “The driver was cited accordingly.”
