HAYDENVILLE – Williamsburg resident Susan Farrell will share travel photos, stories and insights from a two-week trip to Africa on Friday, Oct. 12 at 6 p.m. at Haydenville Congregational Church.
For two weeks in August, Farrell traveled in Kenya while visiting her daughter, who was working for a non-profit agency in the country.
Farrell went on a photo safari, traveled to villages of the Maasai people and visited an orphanage for children affected by AIDS. Her talk and presentation are open to the public.
Apple crisp and vanilla ice cream will be served at the event, and donations will be accepted to benefit the church maintenance fund. Haydenville Congregational Church is located at 143 Main St. in Haydenville.
