Please speak out against a war with Iran. The U.S. government is making military moves that often are designed to provoke a war. Since I wrote this it has provoked two armed attacks on oil tankers.

The president is not a reliable source of information on this. He speaks one way and then another way on the same day. His national security advisor has advocated military action against Iran and other countries. We know what he would do! The president is losing a lot of political battles and could use a war to appeal to patriotic nationalism and win support in the upcoming election.

The media and the liberal left, as far as I can tell, have gone silent on this, with other issues being inflamed every day by the president. I am asking you to openly reveal your position. Many people believe that the invasion of Iraq was a mistake. There will be little attention for fighting climate change or any other issue if war with Iran begins, and it is very possible that the president will be elected for another four years.

Hawaii congresswomen and 2020 presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard, who is also an active duty soldier and veteran of U.S. wars in Iraq and Kuwait, said, “So when we talk about a potential war with Iran, which is looking like we are walking dangerously down that path, what I think is important for the American people to know is that a war with Iran would make the war with Iraq look like a cakewalk. The devastation and the cost would be far greater than anything we have ever experienced.”

We need to act now.
