To those people who have not already cleared out all the packing from Christmas presents, I want to remind you that white, clean, rigid Styrofoam can be recycled instead of thrown in the garbage.
Instead of spending money to put the Styrofoam in blue bags and then for the city to haul it to New York state, the city will recycle it all locally in the spring for free.
The date is yet to be determined, but please, keep all your Styrofoam from all those boxes and be ready to recycle it in the spring.
