CANCER SEMINAR – April 6 from 1 to 2 p.m. Clinical Psychologist Dr. Amanda Roberts will give a presentation on her research with cancer patients. She plans to conduct a study of the use of EDMR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing ) and its effect on anxiety, trauma and depression. Information on participating will be available.

TAX HELP – AARP Tax-Aide volunteers will be providing free tax return preparation at the Amherst Senior Center on Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m until April 13. Please call to schedule an appointment.

EASTER LUNCH –  Join us April 12 for lunch followed by entertainment by musician Noah Lis. Reservations will be accepted starting April 3.

EASTER CRAFT – Felt an Easter design April 3 at 10 a.m. Join our felting class that meets the first Monday of the month with instructor Sarah Madison. Learn the basic steps of felting and have a new piece of Easter jewelry to wear throughout the month. Please bring a egg/bunny/chick shaped cookie cutter (or any shape you’d like) and some felting wool. You can get supplies locally at New England Felting Supply in the Keystone Mills on 122 Pleasant St., Suite 104, Easthampton or on Amazon. There are a few extra needles and foam blocks to borrow. MOVIE – April 5 at 12:30 p.m., “Hacksaw Ridge.”

APRIL HIKE – Chuck Horn leads the hike at Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary April 12 (bad weather date April 26) to the Eagles Nest area. Meeting at Westhampton Woods at 1:30 p.m. to carpool. The hike will begin on South Park Street off of Route 10. Somewhat long but easy walk via an elevated trail through a swamp and then along open fields. We should be back by 3:45 p.m.  

WALKING GROUP & HIKES – Walkers meet every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9 a.m. at the parking lot in the center of town. Walk as much or as little as you like around our local area, led by local folks.

BOARD & CARD GAMES — Tuesdays, 1:30 p.m. at Westhampton Woods.

COFFEE & SOCIAL TIME — Wednesdays, 10 a.m. at the library
