A light dusting of snow Thursday morning could create slippery conditions on untreated roads, according to meteorologists with the National Weather Service in Taunton.
“If you see an inch, you’ll be doing well,” meteorologist Alan Dunham said of the potential snow.
The flurries will fall through late morning and then are expected to change into rain with temperatures in the mid-to-upper 30s, according to Dunham.
Weather for the holiday weekend includes similar temperatures, if not a little warmer, as well as light precipitation.
Dunham said the forecast for Christmas Day was “looking pretty good” with mostly sunny skies and highs in the 40s.
