After two weeks of substandard play, the Frontier Regional boys soccer returned to form in a 5-0 win over South Hadley on Wednesday.
Ian Newman scored twice and had an assist for the Red Hawks in a home win.
Ethan Lafleur also notched a goal and an assist.
Ari Vanegas and Dan Bronke scored, while Keaton Warren, Alex Gheorghita and Zach Hamilton passed assists.
Peter Bronke made two saves for Frontier (6-3-3).
Nehemiah Wilson stopped 13 shots for South Hadley (1-10-2).
The Red Hawks entered the game 1-2-3 over their last six matches.
Southwick 3, Hopkins Academy 1 — Dougie Pierce gave the Golden Hawks a lead in the eighth minute, but Hopkins couldn’t hold it at home.
Brandon Munson assisted the goal, while Adam Yahman made nine saves for the Golden Hawks (4-8-2).
Palmer 3, Easthampton 1 — A goal by Franny Fuhrmann gave the Eagles an early lead, but the Panthers scored three unanswered and Easthampton lost at home.
Quinn Lafountain assisted on the goal.
Drew Caires made eight saves for Easthampton (4-6-2).

Belchertown 4, South Hadley 1 — Kayla Henry added another hat trick and an assist in a home win.
Emma Leblanc had a goal and an assist for Belchertown (8-0-4), while Lauren Leblanc added an assist.
Sam Birks stopped four shots for the Orioles.
Maddie Doolittle scored for South Hadley (7-4-1).
Smith Academy 8, Mohawk Trail 1 — Carrie Ellis had four goals and an assist in a road win.
“She kind of went off today,” Smith coach Matt Brown said.
Hannah Rickert scored twice and had an assist, while Madelyne Niedbala added a goal and an assist.
Leah Sparda scored, while Olivia Niedbala, Maggie Hession and Carley Pedruczy dished out assists.
Gabby Tisdale made 10 saves for Smith Academy (4-6-1).
Smith Vocational 3, McCann Tech 2 — Gabby Petlock scored twice in a home win.
Marissa Meyhew added a goal and an assist, while Karlie Petlock and Meghan Cone had assists for the Vikings (9-1-1, 8-1-1 Tri-County).
Maddisin Atkinson made seven saves.
Greenfield 3, Smith Academy 0 — Taeghan Cavanaugh made 13 saves, but the Falcons (3-7-2, 2-3 North) couldn’t break through offensively.
Belchertown 3, Easthampton 0 — The Orioles swept the Eagles 25-11, 25-19, 25-21 in Easthampton.
Cara McKenzie led Belchertown (11-3) with 11 kills, while Jenna Blain had nine assists.
For Easthampton (3-9) Samantha Sypek had three kills and 14 digs. Devney Horne had seven kills.
Lee 3, Frontier Regional 2 — The Red Hawks (5-9) won the firs two sets but couldn’t close out the Wildcats (13-1) in Berkshire County, falling 19-25, 22-25, 25-19, 25-22, 19-17 in a two-and-a-half hour match.
Ella Deane had 46 assists and 22 digs, Lauren Davenport added 16 kills and 21 digs, while Selayna Bathurst added 15 kills and 21 digs in defeat.
Ethel Walker 3, Williston 1 — Marielle McHale found the net and Tori Palumbo added an assist for the Wildcats (3-5) at home.
