As everyone knows, St. Patrick’s Day is a day spread out over a week, if not a month.
Today’s, of course, officially the day and you can find any number of celebratory events locally, including a show tonight at the Iron Horse in Northampton with fiddler Zoe Darrow and friends (7 p.m., $12.50/$15). The revelry continues through the weekend, however, with Irish-theme performances at the Delaney House in Holyoke on Friday (Sarah the Fiddler, 7-11 p.m.) and Saturday (Billy Egan, 7-11).
Also on Saturday, there’s a guaranteed-raucous blowout with the Big Bad Bollocks scheduled to begin at 7 at the Iron Horse ($12.50/$15), or you could head over to JJ’s Tavern in Florence where a St. Patrick’s party is planned, featuring the Bum Steers, starting at 8 (pictured).
