The only two seniors on the Belchertown girls basketball team put on a show for senior night in a 61-27 win over Sabis on Wednesday.

Kayla Henry scored 32 points, and Cara McKenzie had a triple-double (12 points, 11 rebounds, 11 blocks) as the Orioles (15-3, 4-2 Surburban) dominated Sabis at home.

Athol 56, Hopkins Academy 50 — A cold-shooting fourth quarter was the difference in a home loss for the Golden Hawks (10-8, 3-4 Franklin North).

Samantha Jenks scored 19 points, while Allison Kowal-Safron added 12, all from the 3-point line.

South Hadley 69, Putnam 39 — Sophie Gatzounas scored 26 points, and the Tigers won their 17th straight game.

Mia Kelly added 18 points, and Mikhaila Edge had 12 for South Hadley (17-0).

Gateway Regional 34, Westfield Tech 14 — Grace Van Buren hit a 3-pointer and scored nine points, and the Gators (8-10, 5-1 Tri-County South) won at home.

Boys basketball

Granby 68, Renaissance 44 — Zach Gorham scored 22 points for the Rams in a home win.

Gorham is 23 points away from 1,000 for his career. The Rams (11-7, 7-6 Bi County) play Palmer at home on Friday.

Noah Bleakley had 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Joe Bessette added 11 points with nine rebounds.

Hampshire Regional 75, Monson 60 — Tied at 44, the Raiders (11-6, 8-4 Bi-County) closed the third quarter on a 10-0 run then extended the lead to 24 in the fourth en route to the win in Westhampton.

Matt Babyak had 20 points and 11 rebounds, while Jacob Bihler added 13 points and nine rebounds for Hampshire. Greg Laroche had 18 points on five 3-pointers along with six assists.

David Helems added 12 points in the win.

Gateway 57, Westfield Tech 45 — Shane Mastello had 24 points and 17 rebounds for the Gators in a home win.

Paul Kowal added 11 for Gateway (5-11, 3-8 Tri County).

Sabis 89, Belchertown 52 — Nolan Vogel led the Orioles with 19 points in a road loss.

Mitch Medina added 12 points for Belchertown (0-17, 0-12 Suburban).

Frontier 66, Mohawk 57 — Ben Lowe had a career-high 22 points as the Red Hawks (8-11, 8-7 Hampshire) won their fourth straight. 

Ice hockey

Belchertown 4, Chicopee 4 — Raymond Langevin scored twice with an assist, but the Orioles had to settle for a road tie.

Vaughn Gillen (assist) and Cam Cass (two assists) also scored for Belchertown (7-6-2, 7-5-2 Fay-Wright).

Kyle Greene made 30 saves.
