NORTHAMPTON – Police are investigating a rash of motor vehicle break-ins first reported early Friday evening in the Coles Meadow Road neighborhood.
According to police, at least 10 motor vehicles were reported broken into and rummaged through in the neighborhood with miscellaneous change taken from the vehicles. Police said all of the vehicles are believed to have been unlocked.
Earlier Friday, police took a report of a motor vehicle break in on Coolidge Avenue at around 2:30 p.m. In that case, a backpack containing about $350 in items was reported stolen, according to police.
