WESTHAMPTON – A tree brought down power lines on Edwards Road about 7 p.m. Tuesday, resulting in a small fire, said Fire Chief Christopher Norris.
Eversource Energy turned off the electricity and firefighters extinguished the fire. The road was closed for about half an hour, according to Norris. He said the incident was not storm-related.
