This country was built with the blood, sweat and tears over the past decades by farmers, small businesses, veterans and many others who worked to preserve the right of freedom of speech and freedom of expression.
In many communities, many individuals have lawn ornaments, flags, signs and objects of their choosing displayed on their property. They pay their taxes and have the right to do so. Whoever is elected to any office in this country has the right to serve until the law says otherwise.
Some individuals do not like the current people holding elective office because they simply were not their candidate of choice. Consider that politicians can represent us even if they donโt win the vote in all of the communities they represent.
This is the same system we have at the national level, as we all are served by our national leaders. Freedom is not free by any means, as veterans and families of soldiers lost or wounded can attest to. Individuals wanting to speak out or act out against peopleโs freedoms should not make themselves known by trying to bully their viewpoints or opinion on others.
If they donโt like what they see, simply donโt look. Do not tread on freedoms given by veterans if you did not serve. If any individual feels threatened by legally displayed phrases or flags, they need to educate themselves about the history of this country or choose to live somewhere else.
