High schools: Nate Breault, Granby sink Easthampton

Nate Breault hit six 3-pointers and scored 20 points, as the Granby boys basketball team beat Easthampton, 59-51, at home Wednesday.

Carter White added 16 points, while Luis Gaj and Brandon Wishart each had eight for the Rams (4-3).

Ryan Gaughan had nine rebounds and seven assists to go along with his five points.

Gabe Colenback made three 3s and led the Eagles (1-9) with 15 points. Owen Morse scored 10.

Northampton 55, Greenfield 47 — Freshman Max Lockett compiled 14 points, 11 rebounds and six blocks as the Blue Devils won their second game in a row. Jake Brittain and Jacob Cancel had nine points each for Northampton (3-6). Gavin Bullock added eight.

Holyoke 68, East Longmeadow 55 — Jovaughn Smith-Artuna scored 16 points, as the Purple Knights moved above .500 with a road win, their third straight.

Jesus Ibarra and Jael Cabrera each had 12 points for Holyoke (4-3). William Cruz added 11 points, and Brian Christobal scored 10.

South Hadley 62, Palmer 46 — Hunter Carey had 18 points, as the Tigers won their first Bi-County East game.

Dylan Cottingham contributed 11 points, and Brady Marion scored 10.

South Hadley (7-3, 1-2) hit 10 3s.

Hockey

Enfield 4, South Hadley 1 — Mike Mazza scored in the second period for the Tigers (5-2-1), while Anthony Cigal stopped 24 shots in the road loss.

Wahconah 4, Greenfield 3 — Frontier Regional senior Bryan Baumann score twice, but the Green Wave couldn’t overcome a two-goal deficit.

Shane Prusaak put Greenfield (7-2) up 1-0 from Kyle Barnes, but the Warriors scored three unanswered goals.

Baumann’s two tallies tied the game at 3, but Wahconah took the lead with 1 minute, 35 seconds left in the second period.

The loss snapped a seven-game win streak for Greenfield.

Chicopee Comp 3, Easthampton 2 — Ethan Marowitz and Liam Reynolds found the net for the Eagles (1-4) in a home loss.

Jayden Darling made 22 saves.
