HADLEY — A dozen or so volunteers gathered in the Father Benoit Parish Hall at Most Holy Redeemer Church in Hadley on Thursday to make, pinch, boil and freeze more than 300 pierogies in advance of the Pierogi Fest to be held at the church on Oct. 17. The fest will feature nine varieties of the Polish dumplings: potato and cheese, potato and kielbasa, sweet cheese, cabbage, mixed, blueberry, pineapple, apple and cheeseburger.
