I am a gay progressive. I come from a working class Irish-Catholic family. We have college professors and police officers in our greater family. And we all get along.
I believe Black Lives Matter. I believe police officers need to be held to very high standards of accountability. I, also, do not believe in defunding. I am grateful that we have highly professional police officers in Northampton.
