CHESTERFIELD — The town’s annual town election Monday is shaping up to be a banner day for incumbents.
Incumbents in all races, along with one new candidate running unopposed, are up for re-election.
Polls will be open from 12 to 8 p.m. in the town offices at the Davenport Building on Main Road.
Chesterfield’s annual Town Meeting will take place the following week on Monday, May 8.
“The Finance Committee is still working on the warrant for the annual Town Meeting but that will be posted by this Monday (May 1),” Chesterfield Town Administrator Sue Labrie said Wednesday morning.
On the ballot this year are: Patricia Colson-Montgomery for a three-year term on the Select Board; Mary Anne Severance-Rys for a three-year term as town assessor; Henry L. Bander for a three-year term on the Board of Health; Betsy Todd for a three-year term on as a library trustee; and Judith Terry, Maureen L. Borg and Daniel Henshaw for three-year terms on the Planning Board;
Also, Leslie Kellogg for a two-year term on the Hampshire Regional School Committee; Russell Peotter for a two-year term as Hampshire County councilor; Robert E. Judd for a three-year term as constable; Lenore Pittsinger for a three-year term as tax collector; Sandra L. Wickland fr a three-year term as town clerk; Margaret McWherter for a three-year term as treasurer; and John (JB) Lynch for a three-year term as tree warden.
